bloggers who inspired me (to get off my ass and start blogging my damn self)

this whole blogging journey hasn't been easy. i mean, sure, anyone can download wordpress, create a login and get to typin'. however, if we're being completely honest here, which we are, this is probably my fifth attempt at a blog. i've been doing this writing thang for quite a while. unlike the past flings i've had with multiple blogs, this blog right here, cuhz? i am putting 110% into it. my goal is to make $MULA$ off of this thing. during my beautiful trip to laaaalalawaittiligetmymoneyright, i've come across some bookmark-worthy bloggers that have unintentionally inspired me to get off my ass and do the damn thing- the right way- this time around.

so, here's a #quicksip: a short but sweet list of bloggers that have in one way or another helped me on my way to becoming a money-making, self-loving, branding/blogging guru. show them some luv & support.

(Bloggers You Should Follow Pt. 1)

hi guys, this is Mattie. so cute, right?

hi guys, this is Mattie. so cute, right?

1.
Mattie of mattieologie.com

google has to be paying her coins for how many times i've clicked on this lovely woman's blog. to keep it frank, Mattie is the person i stalk for inspiration. she is so fluent in this digital language that exists today; she works the fuck hard and she looks flawless whilst doing it! lifestyle posts, tips on branding, and style advice- she does it all. all while taking care of a child. my nickname for her? liberian superwoman.

follow Mattie and subscribe to her blog. if you're taking this blogging thing seriously and want to make coins off of your efforts, attend one of her free webinars! i promise you won't regret it.

Maricia Josephs, the extraordinaire.

2. Maricia Josephs of musingsofkrav.com

i haven't been following Maricia for too long, but she is a woman that caught my eye off rip. for one, her style is impeccable; and two, you can just tell she works with intention and purpose. Maricia's work ethic is off the chain. she's been featured on nylon, works with ASOS, and is the plug with freelance and fashion jobs on her brand, musingsofkrav, twitter. though her website musingsofkrav.com is on a quick hiatus, follow Maricia on twitter because everything she tweets is a gem. take a  dive inside her perfectly curated- probably patterned- world.

3. Jourdan of lifewithJRDN.com

jourdan is a gem. on her blog, she discusses personal topics that a lot of us are afraid to be open and vulnerable about. like many of us, jourdan deals with anxiety. she deals with love. she deals with men. she deals with life after college. she sheds light on what it's like to deal with the real situations of life; however, through jourdan's words you can feel so much light. despite the circumstances she transcribes, her glowing personality shines through her writing. (she's also a super dope photographer.) i came across jourdan when i was in the very beginning of my blogging journey, and i'm glad i did. she has helped me and- although she might not know it- pushed me to be myself at all times and let it shine through my work. follow this "one of those MF DOOM type" gyal and follow a day in the life of jourdan.

4. Regina of byregina.com

there really isn't much to say about this woman right here, besides follow her and change your damn life. she is so thorough in her work. Regina strives to help others become the best they can be when it comes to blogging and branding online. her quirkiness makes me love her a million times more. she talks about being a freaking ninja. RELATABLE. i don't even remember how i came across this gem of a human being. wait i lied. my best friend kiara sent me one of her webinars or online courses. GOLD. but anyway, take my word when i say follow her if you want to thrive in blogging and online business. DO IT. NOW.

5. Samantha Callender of samanthacallender.com

onyourcallenderrrrrrrr.

onyourcallenderrrrrrrr.

this technically might be considered cheating since Samantha is one of my close friends. but you gotta support your girls, right? and if anyone knows Sam, they know that she works her ass off. Sam and i met during our writing days at VIBE and VIBEVIXEN.com but she really has grown as a woman, a writer, and a blogger since i've known her. she is extremely tech savvy, media savvy, and knows how to get the coins, y'all. currently, her blog is on and popping with stories about relationships, love, business, etc., but she thrives when it comes to pushing others and helping them with their brand. when you get to know Sam and her work ethic, you know she'll be "onyourcallender" real soon. (badum-chhhh.) follow Samantha for branding and pitching advice, support on building your online brand, and show love to my dear hardworking friend!

6. Ghislaine of innerGflow.com

look how purrrrrty. like, can you not?

look how purrrrrty. like, can you not?

just know i'm the plug.

Ghislaine is my friend, too. (el-oh-el.) but she's really brains and beauty. if you like a little spiritual honey in your tea when it comes to motivation, then i suggest following G and her musings online. her blog dives deep into the waters of the mind and helps individuals unlock the doors to becoming their greatest, highest self. Ghislaine really pushed me because of her genuine friendship; she is a person who dedicates her own soul growth to help others. it made me realize that everything is for a bigger purpose. you must move with intention, you have to be selfless in order to move forward in life. word is bond. for personal development, advice about getting over your ex-fuckboy-boyfriend, or just looking for words of wisdom to get you through the hump in your day-to-day, innerGflow is for the G-spot in your soul.

love&light,
